[Closed] Cha Thai – Invited Tasting

Chef Leah combines her western culinary craft with authentic hand-me-down recipes from the Royal Palace’s kitchen, coupled with her stringent standards of curating fresh & best ingredients; from different corners of the archipelago, and other continents for some meat sources. Her crew prides itself in conjuring their own pastes/ seasonings/ curries from scratch.

The quality & portion of the food is good, and so, don’t expect the price tags to be that of what you would find in Golden Mile Complex (GMC), because you will not find anything close to this.

Joo Bar – Eat & Earn

I find this place to be a good spot for almost any form of chill out, regardless if its colleagues or peers. The quality of the food & beverages is good, and in terms of price point, competitive with most other Korean joints in town.

8 Korean BBQ – Invited Tasting

8 Korean BBQ at The Central Clarke Quay, is the first of the 2 outlets in Singapore, while there are 2 other outlets in USA. The “8” in the name, is found in their signature 8 colors set, comprising of 8 distinct flavored marinates on their choice cut Mangalitza Pork Belly.

Grissini @ Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel – Media Invite

Grissini (transl. bread sticks), situated at the ground floor of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. Unlike most other Italian restaurants, Chef Antonio belts out some of the Southern Italian Signatures. So, be prepared to be pampered with seafood themed dishes, as well as the much anticipated grills straight from the Josper Oven.

one of the few Italian joints that offers a decent selection of charcuterie & cheeses, has a pretty balanced variety of pastas & pizzas, and juicy delicious proteins (ranch or coast). Not to mention, select wines that go well with the course of meal.

I should think this is a place to be, if you need to impress someone over a quiet classy & comforting meal.
